In a recent event in Sharjah, Sharjah police saved the life of a Emirati driver whose car brakes failed while driving on a motor way at a speed of 140 km/hr by guiding him to follow the following simple steps the driver came unscratched:
- Flash car hazard lights
- Fasten seat belt and put the car into neutral (N) position
- Hold the wheel tight
- Turn the engine off and on at the same time and the car brakes started functioning normal.
My advice … stay calm and dial the helpline first and if that does not work try the above .. Safe driving
